TERMS OF SERVICE – Paleoart Commissions

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to and accept the following terms. Please view my portfolio prior to ordering to ensure my style is what you expect.1. GENERAL TERMS• Method of Payment: I accept payment only through PayPal (Goods & Services) unless you're a friend and we've already agreed on in-person payment. This helps ensure safe and verifiable payment on both ends.• Time of Payment: Full payment is expected before I begin work on your task. Commissions are not activated until payment has been made. Be prepared to pay when I have agreed to take up your request.• Late Payment Cancellation: Unless payment is received within 24 hours of confirmation or invoice, your commission will be cancelled without notice, and a new person would replace your position.• Refund Policy: If a commission has been done and submitted, I never give refunds under any situation. In case I am not capable of doing the commission due to personal matters, you will be given a full refund.• Chargebacks & Fraud: If you try to dispute or chargeback without speaking with me first, you'll be blacklisted from future commissions immediately. I also have the right to report scamming activity publicly.**2. CONTENT GUIDELINES✅ What I DO: I specialize in artwork, including size comparison charts, specimen reconstructions, and artwork focused on prehistoric/extinct creatures. I also commission on dragons and some living animals like cetaceans and sharks.🟡 What I RARELY Do: On a one-off basis, I may accept commissions on backgrounds/landscapes or low gore content, such as predation scenes — but this cannot be guaranteed and may be longer. I may draw SOME creatures/kaijus.⛔ What I DON'T Draw: I will not draw primates or most other modern animals, NSFW or suggestive content, animation, or mythical monsters (with the exception of dragons). I also don't draw from incorrect paleo depictions, such as in movies like Jurassic Park. Scientific accuracy must be maintained and is the major foundation of my work.3. USAGE RIGHTS & COPYRIGHT• Artist Rights: I retain all rights and ownership of every piece that I create. This includes the right to display the artwork on my portfolio, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms unless otherwise decided.• Right to Refuse: I reserve the right to refuse any commission at any time, either due to uncomfortable, topic, or creative incompatibility. I also reserve the right to make minor corrections to your request if the situation requires it for accuracy or artistic balance.• Client Restrictions: As the client, you are not permitted to reproduce, resell, or derive a profit from the artwork in any form (prints, products, or digital media), other than commercial rights being purchased directly.• Posting & Credit: You may use the same commissioned work for personal purposes (e.g., profile pictures, online galleries), but do remember to credit me when you post online. No crediting will result in a takedown notice.• Credits: You may make subtle, non-commercial edits (e.g., filters, cropping). Any full-scale edits, redraws, or reworks must be cleared with me and may cost an extra fee.• NFTs & AI: My art may not be used for NFTs, AI-training data, or blockchain projects.4. COMMUNICATION & DELIVERY• Method of Contact: All commission communications should take place in Instagram DMs unless other arrangements are made. This keeps things organized in one place and permits me to answer swiftly.• Method of Delivery: Finished artwork will usually be delivered via Gmail. An active email address to receive files at high resolution should be given.• Time of Completion: Most commissions take around 2 weeks, but turnaround is flexible depending on complexity, queue, or my schedule. I am a full-time student, and I cannot guarantee hard deadlines unless already discussed.5. INSTRUCTIONS & REFERENCES• Brief Descriptions Required: In ordering, be concise but descriptive of what you are asking for. Include all required information at the time of ordering — species, pose, diagram elements, behavior, etc.• Draft & Revisions: I will send an initial draft in progress. Minimal editing can be done at this point. High frequency or unnecessary revision requests may add to the cost.• Reference Policy: I utilize only authentic and up-to-date scientific reconstructions. I won't use pop-culture or fictional reference material (e.g., featherless raptors from movies). You may submit a maximum of three (3) reference images to support your request. Preliminary sketches are also allowed.6. FEES & EXTRAS• Text/Labels: Any diagrams with additional text, labels, or notes will incur an extra fee, to be outlined upfront.• Complexity Fee: Extremely complex designs, large group portraits, or unconventional requests may have an additional fee depending on the time and complexity involved.• Price Issues: If you need to re-think due to budget, by all means don't hold back — I totally get it and appreciate your candor in informing me.7. FINAL NOTES• Terms Acceptance: By engaging my services, you agree to the above terms in full. It is your responsibility to read and understand them before requesting.• Amendments: These Terms of Service can be modified at any time with or without notice. Your responsibility is to look for amendments before each commission.
